“He’s in there?” asked Broome.

Mike smiled. “We had to get, um, creative,” he explained.

“We’ll wait upstairs until museum hours are over,” added Shannon. “Then we take all of the dinos to the Atlantica.”

“That would be best,” Broome said. “I’ll meet you upstairs as soon as I can.”

Mike and Shannon moved through the crowd with the undercover dino.

“What’s the Atlantica?” Mike asked.

“I probably shouldn’t have mentioned that,” Shannon replied.

“After everything we’ve been through, you still won’t tell me about your secret dinosaur society?” asked Mike, upset.

“I didn’t want the information falling into the wrong hands,” Shannon said.

Mike said, “You mean —?”

“Jeff,” interrupted Shannon.

“Yeah, that’s what I was going say,” replied Mike.

“No,” said Shannon, pointing at the other side of the museum. “It’s Jeff!”

Sitting on a bench holding a museum map was the boy who started this whole mess by setting a live T. rex loose on their last adventure. He was the one responsible for four baby dinos now running free . . .

JURASSIC JEFF!

Jeff spotted Mike and Shannon. He gave them an evil glare.

Suddenly, the plush dolphin jerked and slipped from Mike’s hands. It flopped and hopped on the floor like a fish out of water. Mike scooped up the toy before anyone could notice — except one person.

Jeff was still staring at them. He gave Mike and Shannon a knowing wink.
